As you may be aware each quarter we introduce you to one of our workers, this time its Laurentiu's turn. Laurentiu is Marianna's husband.

1. Introduce yourself, and tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Laurentiu, I am married to Marianna and; have three children Alexandra, Catalina and Joshua.

2. What was your job before what you are doing now?
I was in all kinds of construction. I made everything.

3. When and how did you become a Christian?
I became a Christian in 1996. I worked in my uncle's business and he was a Christian, also there were many other Christians who also worked with me. They would have sung hymns and talked about God a lot. There were many Churches represented - many denominations including Roman Catholic. I was curious so I went to them all to see which of them weighed up with the Bible's teaching. The final decision was when I saw a miracle; I was on the street one night at 2am, I was working this particular night so I had to go from my home to my work, it was a long journey so I was going to travel by bus but all buses had stopped for the night. Then I prayed on the street. No one was on the street, no cars— nothing! "Lord you are the ruler of everything -the cars are Yours so please send me a car to take me to work." After I had prayed I saw a light and a car just came and stopped beside me - it was a taxi. The driver opened the door and he asked me was I going to town? I told him I had no money, he said no problem, I want to take you. He left me near my work. This was my final decision when God answered my prayer so quickly. I was very glad and I jumped for joy!

4. When and how did you meet Norman and how did you get involved with Norman Fox Missionary Cause?
I was in Fagaras working with Lumi on placement with CEF, as we stayed in Fagaras Norman paid our rent. I heard many things from Lumi about Norman. After a while I met Norman again in Buzau where he came to work with Tatiana and Cosmina there was meeting there for the children. I took Norman to the airport in a car which ran on gas, Norman was scared so he gave me money to buy another car. Norman asked us about work in Bucharest, so we decided to work in Bucharest in 2006 but not with CEF. He said he wanted to help us to do the work. Since then every time he comes in Romania he helps us very much. "So go to work" Norman said.

5. What is your work for The Cause?
Much work!!

6. Where in Romania do you live and work?
We live in Bucharest and work in Bucharest and in the surrounding villages. We do good news clubs, help sister Ina, help George in the hospital with the very sick children, 3 camps last summer in Bucharest, sometimes asked by their friends to help in an orphanage, preaches several times a year, evangelistic mission and I am an elder in my Church.

7. What is your favorite verse/verses in the bible and why?
1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your care upon Him for He careth for you." We have had a lot of problems with Marianna's uncle RE our living arrangements, he has not treated us very fairly so this is a great promise we can cast all of our care upon God and He cares for us.
